The National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said the logistics for the Saturday elections was good as materials were delivered to the local government areas on time.
He spoke shortly after voting at ward 003, polling unit 047 at Alausa, Lagos.
Tinubu said, “They brought materials to polling units early enough. Logistically, they have not failed.”
While speaking on the Okota violence in the last elections, the APC leader said, “I am very upset about that because it portrayed Lagos as being violent. It is not as bad as you see it.”
The APC leader also said Lagos had seen tremendous development since he was governor.
He said, “The lowest Internally Generated Revenue then was N600m a month. Today it is over N30bn. No state has achieved financial independence as Lagos. Others depend on allocation from Federal Government. Lagos does not.”
Tinubu later delivered his polling unit for the APC. The party scored 167, while the PDP got 11 for the governorship election. In the House of Assembly election, the APC polled 157, while the PDP had 10.
