Dubai Lynx, MENA’s Festival and Awards for creative excellence in branded communications, has today announced IKEA as the Advertiser of the Year 2022. Each year, this award recognises a brand that has distinguished themselves through innovative marketing and embracing creative work produced by their agencies.

In 2022, the Advertiser of the Year award will be presented to Al-Futtaim IKEA senior representatives: Vinod Jayan, Managing Director, Al – Futtaim IKEA UAE, Qatar, Oman & Egypt; and Carla Klumpenaar, GM Marketing, Communication & Interior Design, Al – Futtaim IKEA UAE, Qatar, Oman & Egypt at the Dubai Lynx live Awards Show on 16 March 2022, taking place at the Dubai Opera House.

IKEA has won multiple awards at Dubai Lynx festivals in recent years. Notably, in 2020/21, IKEA’s ‘The Book That Will Change Your Life’ by Memac Ogilvy Dubai, took home the Integrated Lynx Grand Prix. And ‘Buy With Your Time’ also by Memac Ogilvy Dubai was awarded a Gold Creative Strategy Lynx.
